Ok when was Vampire Weekend a thing?
I vaguely remember them from my middle school days but were they ever that big? Who knows?
And right now, WHO CARES! Because their new album has some bops/jams (whatever you prefer) on it! One in particular really stood out to me. I discovered it on the ever classic New Music Friday Spotify playlist.
Vampire Weekend - Harmony Hall
It's soothing, it's relaxing, it's calming well still being fun and upbeat all at the same time.
In my opinion, it reminds me a lot of an old school Van Morrison/ Neil Young song. OLD SCHOOL VIBES 100%.
The album overall is good but this one will stick with me for awhile and carry over to those late summer night drives.
10/10 recommend.
